David Spector began his legal career in the 1960′s in Brooklyn, New York fighting for the rights of immigrants and protecting the injured from overbearing insurance companies. He was joined in 1999 by James M. Foerst of Westfield, New Jersey. Mr. Foerst expanded the practice areas of the law firm incorporating real estate, estate planning, criminal defense matters and a variety of additional general civil practice niches. After David Spector’s retirement in 2009, the law firm welcomed JoAnn Neylan, Esq, a former Brooklyn District Attorney, joined the firm to complement and expand the civil litigation and criminal defense practice areas. In 2012, the firm was honored to be joined by Jennifer Cadillo, Esq. to compliment the real estate law section of the firm. A former legal intern for the firm in college, she returned to her roots after successfully completing law school and passing both the New York and New Jersey bar exams.

The proud tradition of top notch legal representation upon which the firm was founded continues some four decades later. Today, Spector Foerst & Associates is highly regarded in the legal and financial communities having represented 1000′s of clients over its four decade history. We represent clients in the areas of personal injury, workplace accidents and insurance cases, residential and commercial real estate transactions, property tax appeals, zoning and variance relief, estate planning, general civil litigation and criminal matters.
